In the Scattered Disc, some objects (like Sedna) had orbits following a very strange pattern. It couldn't be a coincidence, chances of this was 0.007%, unless there was another planet out there affecting these objects' orbits! This unknown planet is 10 times the mass of Earth and was discovered by mathematical calculation, just like Neptune was. While it isn't really confirmed, this is the most likely explanation for the strange orbits of these objects.

????? Facts
- WHAT NAME WOULD YOU LIKE TO GIVE IT? Remember, planets (other than dwarf planets) have names that come from a god/goddess/Titan in Greek or Roman mythology. I'd like to call this planet Erebus, the embodiment of the Underworld and the Greek/Roman god of darkness and shadow.
- THIS PLANET MAY HAVE BEEN STOLEN BY THE SUN. Being so far away, this planet couldn't have formed like the rest of the planets. Billions of years ago, things were more cluttered and other stars were forming near the Sun that drifted away later on. This planet may have strayed too close to the Sun and was caught in orbit.
- THIS PLANET MAY HAVE FORMED NEARER TO THE SUN. Astronomers have attempted to simulate the formation of the solar system, but found that it was incredibly hard to do so... unless an additional Jovian planet was in the formation simulation. This planet got flung much farther away due to Jupiter and Saturn's shifting orbits.
- THIS PLANET IS PROBABLY A JOVIAN PLANET, but other (less likely) possibilities include a volcanic super-Earth and a mega-Pluto. In other words, the planet may be a large terrestrial planet of obsidian and volcanic rock with lots of volcanism going on. Or, it could be quite like Pluto, but much larger, made of ices reddened by the Sun's rays reacting with the ices.
- THIS PLANET IS TILTING THE SOLAR SYSTEM. The Sun is tilted by 7.25 degrees, but it seems that this is really not the case. This planet affects the gravity of many objects, and is even causing the entire solar system to tilt just a little bit.
- TEMPERATURES ON THIS PLANET ARE ESTIMATED TO BE WARMER THAN USUAL. Being so far away, you'd think it would have surface temperatures that are similar to, say, Sedna (-260 C). However, because it's a Jovian planet, all that pressure and internal heat makes it a bit warmer than it should be, at -226 C.
